Information requested about the FCA’s enforcement activity and investigations into cryptoasset businesses or individuals, and registrations of crypto firms, including:

1. The number of formal enforcement investigations (whether under s168 FSMA or equivalent powers under the MLRs) opened into cryptoasset businesses or individuals, broken down by year from 2020 to 2025. 
2. The number of formal investigations into cryptoasset businesses or individuals closed, broken down by year from 2020 to 2025. 
3. The number of crypto firm registration applications received in the past five years, broken down by year. 
4. The number of rejections in the past five years, broken down by year. 
5. The number of withdrawals by the firm in the past five years, broken down by year. 
6. The number of acceptances in the past five years, broken down by year. 
7. The number of those acceptances which had restrictions placed upon them, in the past five years, broken down by year.
