Please provide the statistics on the number of first-time buyer and homemovers mortgage transactions and the mean value in at the following pricebands at the level of the first two letters of the postcode. I would like the time period to be monthly data from November 2014 to November 2017.

We hold the information you have requested, which is in the attached Annexes C and D.
Annex C provides the mean value at the specified price bands at the level of the first two letters of the postcode, broken down by month in the period November 2014 to November 2017. Annex D provides the number of transactions at the level of the first two letters of the postcode, broken down by month in the period November 2014 to November 2017.
Please note we have redacted any references within Annex C to single transactions taking place within a specified post code area as this data could be used to match loan values with specific entries in the Land Registry. We are therefore unable to disclose this information to you under section 40 (personal data) of FOIA. This is because disclosing this information could reveal personal information about the individuals concerned. For more information on why we are applying this exemption please see Annex B.
To clarify, empty cells within Annex C reflect instances where there were either no transactions taking place in the specified month / year or where there was only one such transaction taking place.
