Freedom of Information: Right to know request:

1. The number of reports, complaints, or intelligence submissions received by the FCA in each of the last three calendar years concerning firms or individuals suspected of carrying on unauthorised claims management activity.

2. Of those reports, the number which resulted in:
a. an investigation being opened by the FCA;
b. a consumer warning being published;
c. enforcement or supervisory action being taken.

3. The number of criminal prosecutions commenced by the FCA in each of the last three calendar years in relation to breaches of the general prohibition under section 19 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 involving unauthorised claims management activity.

4. The number of civil or regulatory enforcement actions taken by the FCA during the same period relating to unauthorised claims management companies or introducers.

5. The number of websites the FCA has caused to be removed, suspended, blocked, or otherwise made unavailable in relation to unauthorised claims management activity in the last 3 years.

6. The number of consumer warnings published by the FCA in relation to unauthorised claims management companies during the same period.
