How to send documents to us securely using the Electronic Submission System (ESS).
Access the Electronic Submission System[1]
New users: Submit an online registration request[1] (select 'Register for System Access'). You must register on an individual basis using your corporate email address. This will be your username when logging on to the system.

From 3 November 2025, as a result of PS24/19 Enhancing the National Storage Mechanism[6], there are changes to the process for submitting documents to the NSM. See our National Storage Mechanism page[6] for more information.

Multi-factor authentication
We’ve strengthened how you log into ESS to further protect and control access to our data. You now need to enter a one-time passcode each time you log in. See our resource page[7] for more information.
